Eoin Ryan is managing director of the Galtee Group – a wood manufacturing business based in Ballylanders Co Limerick.

The Galtee Group is a component supplier to the joinery, furniture and woodworking sectors in Ireland & UK. Fire Doors and Decorative Sheet Materials are the main products supplied, with over 65% of these products exported to customers that range from large merchants to small joinery workshops.

Eoin’s training is in Industrial Engineering and Production Management and is a 2nd generation owner of the business which was started in 1980 by his parents, Sean & Marie.

Aengus Ó Curraidhín is Chief Financial Officer of Rosie and Jim. Rosie and Jim is a family business producing great tasting and nutritious chicken products since 1997. Innovation and continuous improvement are deeply ingrained in their business and they strive to achieve on-trend, healthy meal options for mainstream consumers, and also those with dietary concerns.

Mark Flynn is an experienced IT consultant with over 20 years in digital transformation, focusing on the manufacturing sector. As the Managing Director of Pembroke Digital, a leading digital transformation consultancy, Mark drives innovation and efficiency for businesses worldwide, by providing strategic guidance and tailored solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities within the manufacturing industry.

Donal Mc Namee is managing director of Archway Products. Archway Products is offers innovative, cost effective and environmentally sound products for fixing road defects such as potholes. What differentiates the company’s product offering from that of its competitors in the European market is the fact that it can be operated by one operative.

Donal has over 12 years’ experience working in IT for large blue-chip telecoms and insurance companies and also worked in a network security start-up before returning to Leitrim to run the family business. He has an active interest in all things technology and security related and is an advocate in promoting digitisation and best security practices in small businesses.

 

Moderator

Robert Hernan is Senior Lean advisor in Enterprise Ireland’s Operational Excellence & Digital Innovation team. He supports Enterprise Ireland’s food companies in implementing Lean transforms having previously managed Lean Start and Plus business offers. He managed the successful Lean for Micro (LEOs) pilot in 2015, supported the roll out of the IDA Lean initiative, 2016 and Lean Business Ireland’s roll out of regional lean networks, 2018.  Robert is a member of Lean Business Ireland and West-Northwest Lean network committees.
