Matt has spent the last 10 years working in the investment banking division of Numis with a focus on raising capital for private companies.

Matt has worked closely with the founders of companies including Wiz, Klarna, Rapyd, SaltPay, TravelPerk, Flipdish, CarDekho, Getir and many more. Numis partners with the most ambitious founders over multi year periods, and in the last four years have raised more than $6bn of capital for their clients. Matt and the Numis team use their strong global connectivity to help their clients scale internationally.

Matt is also a board member for Endeavor Ireland which works with high-impact entrepreneurs to ensure they can fulfill their potential.

Conor McCarthy, CEO and Co-Founder, Flipdish

Flipdish was co-founded by Conor in Dublin, Ireland in 2015 with his brother, James McCarthy, to help independent eateries take back control of their digital business. The company helps food businesses to build their brands, increase their customer loyalty, and supercharge their online sales.

With a background in electronic engineering and software development, Conor is a serial entrepreneur. His first online business was HandHQ.com, started when he was in college, an online poker datamining service which was sold in 2010. Between 2007 and 2010 Hand HQ became the leading provider of poker hand histories online providing a database of over a billion poker hands to tens of thousands of players.

In 2010, Conor also co-founded Switch Poker, the world’s first real money online poker site compatible with iPhones and iPads. Switch Poker went on to sign up over 100,000 players during Conor’s tenure.
